What we do

Services

Eight services covering the whole path from first drawing to finished production run. Use one of them, or hand us the entire job. Either way the work stays in our shop on a single schedule.

01 / Design & Testing

Design & Testing

You do not need a finished print to start. Give us the requirement and we will develop it into a design we can manufacture, choosing the process and materials around how the part has to perform, then proving it with a prototype before any production run.

  • Concept and detail design from a specification or sketch
  • Design for manufacturability review on your existing prints
  • Material selection for load, temperature and corrosion
  • Prototype builds and iteration
  • Fit, function and dimensional validation
  • Fixture and tooling design

02 / Reverse Engineering

Reverse Engineering

If the original supplier is gone and all you have left is the part itself, we can rebuild the documentation. Dimensional measurement gives you a drawing and a model of your own, so ordering the next replacement becomes routine.

  • Dimensional measurement of existing parts
  • CAD model and fully dimensioned drawing creation
  • Obsolete and legacy part replacement
  • Material identification and hardness testing
  • Improvements designed in where the original failed
  • Documentation handed over for your records

03 / Fabrication

Fabrication

Sheet and plate work taken from flat stock to a finished, coated assembly. Because shearing, forming and rolling are done here, a fabricated enclosure or frame does not have to move between several vendors before it is finished.

  • Shearing, punching and press-brake forming
  • Plate rolling and structural fabrication
  • Enclosures, frames, brackets and guarding
  • Weldment assembly and finishing
  • Powder coat, paint and plating arranged
  • Hardware insertion and final assembly

04 / Welding

Welding

Certified TIG, MIG and stick work on structural and pressure-rated assemblies. Where the application calls for it, we supply the weld procedure, weld map and welder qualification records with the job.

  • TIG, MIG and stick processes
  • Carbon steel, stainless, aluminum and nickel alloys
  • Structural weldments and frames
  • Pressure-rated and sanitary assemblies
  • Weld procedures, weld maps and qualification records
  • Post-weld stress relief, passivation and polishing

05 / CNC Machining

CNC Machining

3- and 4-axis milling plus turning with live tooling, held to ±0.0005" repeatably. A 4th rotary axis lets us reach several faces of a part in one setup, which removes the tolerance stack-up that comes from re-fixturing between operations.

  • 3- and 4-axis milling
  • CNC turning with live tooling and sub-spindles
  • Prototype through mid-volume production runs

06 / Engineering Consulting

Engineering Consulting

Not every job needs a part made. We review designs, processes and supplier problems and tell you what we would change, including when a job would be better placed with another shop.

  • Design and print review before you release to production
  • Cost-reduction and process-selection studies
  • Tolerance and GD&T review
  • Failure investigation and root-cause analysis
  • Make-versus-buy and supplier assessment
  • Production process and fixturing improvement

07 / Turnkey Production

Turnkey Production

Hand over the whole job and get finished goods back. We take responsibility for material procurement, every process step, outside operations, inspection and packaging, so you manage one purchase order instead of several vendors.

  • Material sourcing and procurement
  • All machining, welding and fabrication steps managed
  • Outside processing coordinated and certified
  • Assembly, kitting and sub-assembly builds
  • Inspection documentation packaged with the parts
  • Custom packaging, labelling and drop-shipping

08 / Manufacturing

Manufacturing

Production runs set up to stay consistent. Dedicated fixtures, documented setups and first-article approval keep the last part in a run matching the first, with inspection records to show it.

  • Production runs from prototype quantities to mid-volume
  • Dedicated fixtures and documented setup sheets
  • First-article inspection before the balance of a lot runs
  • In-process checks at defined frequencies
  • Scheduled and release-based delivery
  • Full lot traceability and material certification
